What is Upcycled Cotton made from? We’ve all heard plenty about it, but have you ever wondered how fabric is recycled? Recycled cotton is made from second hand clothing and textile waste. The cotton is sorted by colour and texture and then stripped back to fibres which are then mixed with virgin cotton fibres to strengthen it and made into new fabric. Our upcycled cotton is also mixed with recycled plastic bottles, which makes it even more earth friendly. Who knows, maybe those bottles, clothes or pillowcases you threw in the recycling bin might come back to you!
