It’s been an obsession from the beginning, an obsession that runs in our founder’s family. Since she was knee-high, she learnt about the finest fabrics and how to cut them with an impeccable eye so they hang just so. When she grew up, Stitched was born. And when it came to hand-picking her sewistas, she knew exactly what to look for to let their needles do the talking.
We’ve recently realigned our brand and our core values to create a Stitched image that embodies our focus on sustainability with our customer’s desire to create beautiful, bespoke, high-end window apparel.
Our team loves working with interior professionals, journalists or those with a keen interest in creating a sustainable home. If you would like to talk to us about all things curtains and blinds, please get in touch with the appropriate team or send us an email at press@stitched.co.uk.
Transforming how UK households purchase their curtains and blinds - Stitched has worked on over 15,000 projects since launching in 2018 and has brought the joy back to dressing your windows. Using impressive 3D customisation and augmented reality technology, your made to measure curtains and made to measure blinds are easily configured and visualised, with instant and transparent pricing for your designs.
The process is simple and easy to understand, and all done from the comfort of your home without needing a salesperson to see you in your pyjamas at 3pm in the afternoon. We’ve done this all so you can focus on the fun part - choosing the perfect curtains and blinds.
Stitched has curated a selection of earth-friendly fabrics, a network of master sewistas and a team there to support you, who all have an obsession with making your windows a work of art.
42 million tonnes of textile waste is produced every year, and for that reason Stitched only sells natural and recycled fibres. Customers are becoming increasingly interested in the sustainability and provenance of their purchases. So over 70% of Stitched fabrics are currently milled in the UK - helping fundamentally reduce their carbon footprint.
We were excited to discover the rich seam of sewistas during the pandemic, as this tied in with our ethical mission - to help customers understand where their curtains and blinds come from. Keeping our carbon footprint down is a core value so Stitched works with UK mills producing natural and recycled fibres. Stitched also believes local demand should be met by local supply, with a network of over 30 independent master sewistas all over the UK.
